At Here Now This, our mission is to promote mindfulness and meditation as tools for personal growth and well-being. We aim to help individuals relieve stress, manage anxiety, and cultivate emotional understanding through ancient asian teachings.
My name is Dennis Lovell-a retired firefighter, EMT, and a certified mindfulness teacher. After years of high intensity work and daily stress, I found peace through mindfulness and meditation.
Now, I help others especially first responders and anyone open to personal growth-discover that same freedom in the present moment. Whether you're looking to ease anxiety, reconnect with yourself, learn to live with more peace and clarity, you're in the right place.

Life moves fast. We face pressure, pain, and patterns that keep us on auto pilot. But when we learn to pause, breathe, and pay attention, everything changes.
For over two decades, I worked as a firefighter and EMT. I witness trauma, stress, and the weight that comes from constantly being "on". Like many first responders, I carry those experiences home in my body and mind.
Eight years ago, I realized that the one causing most of my suffering was myself. I tried therapy which did help give me insight, and help me to realize why I was the cause of my own suffering.
It wasn't until I picked up my first book on mindfulness, and made the decision to give this practice everything I had. The practice transformed my life. I discovered a way to let go of stress, turn my inner critic into my inner ally, and find meaning and beauty in life through the present moment.
I became a certified mindfulness meditation teacher through
Jack Kornfield and Tara Brock's program at the University of California, Berkeley The Greater Good Science Center. Now, I help others do what I've learned: slow down, breathe, and live fully right here, right now.
